Artist’s Statement
I create my art because it is a passion……I simply need to do it. My work is rooted in nature and the world around me. Intuitively, working from the heart, I use colors, textures, and all the possibilities that fabric, fibers, beads, and found objects offer me. The challenge for me is to translate this world into my stitched and embellished pieces.
