I was born in Germany, spent my years three though nine in England, and then moved to Baltimore, Maryland. For many years I enjoyed sewing and making my own clothes.
After earning a degree in physics at Goucher College, marrying, and raising my three children, I had a long career as a high school physics and math teacher in Worthington, Ohio.
In retirement I have resurrected my sewing skills to explore art quilting. Recently I have merged my love of hiking, particularly in the Southwest, with my artistic endeavors and use personal photographs taken on my treks as the basis for my quilting designs.
