My main Interest as an artist is layering. The great complexities of the world seem best explored through layered constructions. My work seeks to explore what is hidden and what is revealed — whether in a visual, emotional, or historical sense. These possibilities attract me visually, rationally and intuitively. I often dye my own fabrics to explore each layer more fully.
