Spirals for Cy is an exploration of mark-making and my love for the work of fellow Virginian, Cy Twombly. I layered my marks and imagery in Photoshop, which was printed on-demand onto cotton sateen. The print was machine quilted in a wavy pattern designed to disappear into the print.
