I was inspired by a piece of painted cotton (artist unknown) I acquired at a fabric swap. The palette was a new one for me, and I used selected parts of the whole cloth. Covid 19 undoubtedly influenced the mood of the image, which changed over a long period of time. Like many artists, I found it was impossible to ignore the effect of Covid 19 while putting this together. It is a marker for a significant time in all our lives.
